FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Question: What makes your luggage rack so unique?
Answer: We originally developed it based on our own experience, primarily for personal use. Most luggage racks tend to stick out quite far, making off-road riding on single tracks a real challenge. We received a lot of positive feedback on the first prototype, which led us to develop a universal system that can be adapted to (almost) any motorcycle that supports a luggage rack.

The width-adjustable luggage rack is made of extremely tough, unbreakable plastic and is mounted onto your motorcycle’s rear rack. Its smart, adaptable design allows you to use the luggage rack on different motorcycles, which is convenient if you switch bikes.

Question: How can you be so affordable compared to other motorcycle luggage systems?
Answer: We have developed one universal motorcycle luggage system that fits 90% of all motorcycles. We focus on functionality rather than unnecessary stitching and decorative extras. We spend as little as possible on advertising (aside from word-of-mouth through positive reviews), and we purchase large quantities of bags in a single size and color.

Question: Why is your luggage rack made of plastic instead of aluminum or steel?
Answer: Because the type of plastic we use (HDPE) meets high industrial standards in terms of tear resistance and shape retention. Additionally, we believe there should be as few protruding metal parts on your motorcycle as possible, especially in case of a fall.

Question: Other brands often use a combination of PVC and fabric. Why don’t you use fabric in LefBag bags?
Answer: Once again, functionality comes before looks. The bags are made from thick, durable PVC and are easy to clean after a day of riding through mud. They can also be easily repaired on the road using a PVC repair patch. In practice, fabrics and stitching tend to be less suitable.

Question: Why can’t I choose from multiple colors?
Answer: We asked around to see which colors people would prefer. The result was this tough olive green for the duffel bag and black for the side bags. The black side bags sit closest to the wheels, with the added benefit that dirt is less visible on them.

Question: How long is the warranty on LefBag products?
Answer: Two years against material defects. Impressive if you manage to break it anyway ;-) We always keep spare parts in stock.

Question: Will there be more products available in the LefBag webshop soon?
